Project Involving Highway 39 Bridge Over Stockton Lake Focus Of Virtual Public Meeting

MODOT

The Missouri Department of Transportation is planning to replace the bridge deck on the Missouri Route 39 bridge over Stockton Lake north of Springfield next year.  And the public can view plans during a virtual public meeting that starts Monday, September 21.

The meeting can be accessed at modot.org and will be available until Monday, September 28th.

The bridge will be closed for up to three months next year, and signed detours will be in place.

If you don’t have internet access, call MODOT’s Southwest District Office to learn more about the project and provide feedback.  The number is 417-895-7600.

The project is expected to cost $997,000.
