STOCKTON — The North State Modified Series wraps up its COVID-19-shortened 2020 season with the Bob Lehman Classic on Oct. 24 at the Stockton 99 Speedway in Stockton.

Terry Deal from Economy Heating & Air has sweetened the winner’s share of the 60-lap feature race by adding $2,000 for a first-place payout of $3,000. Second place pays $750 and third place $650. Cash awards run down to 24 places.

Pits open 11 a.m. race day and practice begins at 1 p.m. Racing starts at 3 p.m. Drivers are also welcome to attend a test-and-tune session Oct. 23 on the quarter-mile paved oval. Pit gates open at 2 p.m.

Ukiah’s Kyle Tellstrom enters the final race of the season atop the NSMS standings with 312 points. Defending champion Scott Winters is next with 282 and Kelseyville’s Darrin Sullivan is third with 262.

The North State Modified Series is presented by Protest the Harvest.
