Water Patrol investigates near drowning at Stockton Lake on Saturday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The Missouri Highway Patrol is reporting a near drowning Saturday on Stockton Lake.

Troopers say a 17-year-old boy jumped off a bluff near Crabtree Cove Campground and went unconscious as he hit the water.

The teen is being treated for serious injuries at a Springfield hospital.
